If it is rejected
If the Gram Panchayat does not register you, or does not give the card or work within 15 days, complain. A complaint about the Gram Panchayat goes to the MPDO (Programme Officer), who must settle it within 7 days. You can complain orally, in writing, by phone or online at ward, Gram Panchayat, mandal or district level; officials must be available to receive complaints on at least one fixed day a week. You get a dated acknowledgement; the enquiry takes up to 7 working days and the complaint must be settled within 15 days, or it moves up a level. Appeals: against the Gram Panchayat to the MPDO, against the MPDO to the District Collector (District Programme Coordinator), then to the state level; appeal within 45 days of the order, to be decided within 30 days. You can also register the complaint with Telangana's Rural Development Call Center on 1800-200-1001 or on its website (choose 'VBGRAMG'); it passes it to the officials and gives you a Problem ID.

📞 18002001001If it is late
If wages are late, the computer system works out the delay compensation after the 16th day from the muster roll's closing, and the District Programme Coordinator and Programme Officer must pay it upfront. If wages or compensation do not come, complain to the MPDO, or register a complaint with the Rural Development Call Center on 1800-200-1001 ('Delay in payments (Wages)') and follow it under 'Know Your Status'.

📞 18002001001Also
Each district must have an Ombudsperson who receives complaints about the scheme, enquires and issues awards. Ask the MPDO's office, or call 1800-200-1001, for your district's Ombudsperson.
