Post-matric scholarship and fee reimbursement (ePASS)
Post-matric scholarship and fee reimbursement (ePASS)
How students in Telangana in Intermediate, degree, PG and professional courses apply on ePASS for the scholarship and fee reimbursement, and which documents they need.
For whom: SC, ST, BC, EBC, minority and disabled students, and their parents.
Published on 30-10-2026. Not every fact has been checked against its official source yet: confirm at the office.
For everyone
1.
On the ePASS website open the 'Post Matric Scholarship Services' page and check whether fresh or renewal registrations for this academic year are open, and the last date.
Not confirmed: We found no fixed rule on when registrations open or close each year; ePASS announces the dates each year. On 30-10-2026 the page showed the 2026-27 fresh and renewal links open, with no last date shown.
Only if
Which group are you in? SC
2.
Check that your name in Aadhaar is exactly as in your SSC certificate. If it differs, first get the name in Aadhaar corrected at a MeeSeva Aadhaar centre.

Ask your bank whether your account is seeded (linked) with Aadhaar. If not, get it done at the bank. You can also request it with an Aadhaar OTP through the 'BASE' service on the NPCI website.

Not confirmed: ePASS's home page points SC students to the NPCI service for Aadhaar seeding; it does not say whether this is required for other groups.

Which group are you in? ST
4.
ST students: the same page has an 'ST Student OTR Registration' link and a user manual for it. Ask your college whether you must do it first, and do it if so.
Not confirmed: The manual is in image form and we could not read it. The ePASS page does not say what OTR is or when it is required.
Only if
Is this a fresh application or a renewal? Fresh (first year of this course)
5.
Open 'Fresh Pre-Registration' and give your SSC hall ticket number, date of birth, year of pass and type of pass. Check the details shown, fill in your college details and submit. You get an application ID; write it down.
Take your application ID to the nearest MeeSeva centre and give your Aadhaar fingerprint or iris (biometric) authentication. Only after this can you complete the application.

10.
Open 'Print Application', print your application and sign it.
Give the signed printout and photocopies of the documents to your college. The college checks them and sends them on to the welfare department. If you do not hand in the printout, the application is rejected.
🏛️ Your college (principal's office)
⏱️ within 15 days · Within 15 days of admission
Not confirmed: The 15-day limit is from ePASS's 'Time Line' page. If a year's announced last date differs, ask at your college.
12.
Open 'Postmatric Application Status' and enter the academic year, application ID, SSC details and date of birth to see where your application is.
If sanctioned, the tuition fee (RTF) goes straight to the college, and maintenance (MTF, mess charges) comes to your bank account. SC, ST and minority students get the full fee. Others get the full fee only in some cases (studied in a government junior college, EAMCET rank up to 10,000, ECET rank up to 1,000 and the like); ask your college how much you will get.
✋ You do this yourself
Not confirmed: These rules are from ePASS's 'Scholarships' page, whose fee rules refer to orders for 2019-22. Confirm the current rules with your college or the district welfare officer.

For a 2026-27 fresh application it must be one obtained from MeeSeva after 01-04-2025.

If something goes wrong
If it is rejected
Common reasons for rejection: not confirmed as a student of the college; wrong caste or income details, or certificates not given; wrong course or year; the printout not handed in at the college; a management or spot quota seat. Check the status to see the reason. If you think it is a mistake, complain on the TG-ePASS grievance form (choose the 'Postmatric Scholarships' scheme); you can follow it under 'Ticket Status'.
Not confirmed: ePASS sets out no formal appeal and no time limit for answering a grievance.
If it is late
If the money has not come, first check your application status. The district welfare officer (of your group's department: SC, ST, BC, minority or disabled welfare) sanctions and releases it. Ask there, or complain on the grievance form choosing 'Sanction/Release Issue'.

Not confirmed: The age limits are those ePASS gives from a 2012 government memo (No.10537/SW.Edn.2/2011, 28-09-2012); we did not check whether they have changed since.
