Take your ration card, Aadhaar card and an electricity bill to the Praja Palana Seva Kendram at the MPDO office, or to an electricity bill collection centre. Check the ration card, Aadhaar, service connection and mobile numbers in your application, and have any mistake corrected.

Not confirmed: We could not confirm which office makes corrections now in your area, especially in towns: the Praja Palana website did not open on 30 October 2026. Ask at the MPDO or municipal office.

Not confirmed: In February 2024 the Chief Minister asked for counters at MPDO and Tahsildar offices to take applications at any time from people who had not applied in Praja Palana. We could not confirm that they still work, or which form they use. Ask at the office first.

If asked, prove who you are with Aadhaar: fingerprint; if that fails, iris or face; failing that, an Aadhaar OTP. Give the OTP only to the official at the counter, never to someone who phones you for it.

The Aadhaar notification speaks of eligible residents of Telangana. Before applying, ask the MPDO office or your electricity section office whether the scheme applies to you.

The Aadhaar notification speaks of eligible residents of Telangana. Before applying, ask the MPDO office or your electricity section office whether the scheme applies to you.
