If something goes wrong
If you are asked for more money
If the hospital asks you to pay for treatment the scheme covers, first tell the Vaidyamithra there. Then call 104 to complain. If someone asks for a bribe, you can call the ACB toll-free on 14400. For treatment on an Ayushman Bharat card there is also the national helpline 14555.

📞 104If it is rejected
If you are told your card was not found or the treatment was not approved, ask the Vaidyamithra and the hospital’s MEDCO why. Then call 104. If that does not solve it, file a grievance on PGRS: at the secretariat, at the Collectorate on Monday, on the PGRS website or in its app.
Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS)
Not confirmed: The MEDCO’s role is from the Trust’s FAQ page, which also has old details. We found no appeal procedure of the Trust’s own against a refusal.
If it is late
If the prior approval is slow, ask the Vaidyamithra and the MEDCO. The Trust says approval is given within 12 hours for planned treatment and at once by phone in emergencies. If it is still slow, call 104.

📞 104Also
If your family has no rice card, does not meet the limits, is not on the Ayushman Bharat list and the patient is under 70, these schemes may not cover you. Government hospitals, from the PHC to the district hospital, give free treatment for illnesses outside the scheme. Call 104 and ask.
