If something goes wrong
If it is rejected
When an application is rejected the officials record the reason; ask at the secretariat. If no reason is given, contact the Tahsildar (MRO), who deals with the integrated certificate. If you think it was wrongly rejected, complain through PGRS: at the secretariat on any day, at the Collectorate on Mondays, on pgrs.ap.gov.in or in the PGRS app. If you are not satisfied with the answer you can reopen the complaint twice: first it goes to a district officer, then to the head of the department.

Not confirmed: We could not confirm who hears an appeal against a refused caste certificate under Act 16 of 1993 and the 1997 Rules, because the Act's text did not open; ask at the Tahsildar office.
If it is late
If the certificate has not come after the time limit, complain through PGRS (the secretariat, the Collectorate on Mondays, pgrs.ap.gov.in or the app). You get a grievance number by SMS and can follow the status with it. The District Swarna Gramam & Swarna Wardu Officer is responsible for secretariat services being delivered on time.

Not confirmed: The 15-day limit for a duplicate is in the rules; the current time limit for a first certificate is not confirmed officially.
If you are asked for more money
The current charge at the secretariat is not confirmed officially; ask what it is before you pay. If anyone asks for a bribe, call the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on its toll-free number 1064, or email complaints-acb@ap.gov.in. Do not pay agents who offer to speed things up.

If a state government department, or an educational institution under it, asks for a fresh caste certificate although you have one issued earlier, that goes against Revenue Department G.O.Ms.No.469 (29.09.2023). Show them the order; if that does not settle it, complain through PGRS.
