If something goes wrong
If it is rejected
If you disagree with the ERO's order, you can appeal to your District Collector (the Appellate Officer named by ECI) within 15 days of the order. Write a memo, sign it, attach a copy of the ERO's order, and hand it in, or send it by registered post so that it arrives in time. Against the appeal decision you can appeal again to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Andhra Pradesh, within 30 days. ECINET also lets you file an appeal online. Or fix the problem and apply afresh.
Your District Collector (Appellate Officer); then the Chief Electoral Officer, Andhra Pradesh (A.P. Secretariat, Velagapudi)
Not confirmed: ECI named the District Collectors as Appellate Officers in 2023; we read only the June 2026 amendment (for some districts). By ECI's manual, only one appeal is allowed while a revision is running; the second appeal to the CEO is for the rest of the year (continuous updation). Ask at the ERO office or on 1950 where to file your appeal.
If it is late
If the decision is late or the new card does not arrive, call 1950. Or lodge a complaint on the Voters' Service Portal or in the ECINET app; you can follow it with its complaint number.

📞 1950Also
If your name was removed wrongly, you can appeal to the District Collector in time, or apply again at any time with Form 6. Lists of those left out of the SIR 2026 draft roll (absent, shifted, dead, duplicate: ASDD), with the reasons, are on the website of the Chief Electoral Officer, Andhra Pradesh; if your name is on one, during the SIR you give the Declaration Form along with Form 6.

📞 1950Not confirmed: We could not open the ASDD lists page; we saw only its link on the Chief Electoral Officer's home page. Ask at the ERO office or on 1950 where to file an appeal.
If you are asked for more money
The forms and the new card are both free. Do not pay anyone who asks for money to get it done; call 1950 and report it.
