If something goes wrong
If it is rejected
If the assessment finds no disability, the central rules say the reasons must be given within a month (in Form VIII) and you can appeal within 90 days. A 2018 Andhra Pradesh order says anyone not satisfied with the assessment can appeal for a re-assessment, and the District Authority's decision after re-assessment is final. Ask at the secretariat where to file the appeal.
Your village or ward secretariat (now called the Swarna Gramam / Swarna Wardu office)
Not confirmed: The 2018 order says the appeal is made through MeeSeva; we do not know whether it is now made at the secretariat or at MeeSeva.
If it is rejected
Under the central UDID system, an application is rejected if you do not come for assessment after five calls over two months; you can then apply afresh. If you cannot go on your test date, tell the secretariat at once.

Not confirmed: Andhra Pradesh's official pages do not say what to do if you miss a SADAREM test.
If it is late
The central rules say the certificate is to be issued within three months where a disability is found. If it is late, ask at the secretariat; if that does not settle it, complain on PGRS (at the secretariat, at the Collectorate on Mondays, on pgrs.ap.gov.in or in the app). You get the grievance number by SMS, and you can re-open it twice if you are not satisfied.

If you are asked for more money
The UDID application and card are free. We found no official charge for SADAREM services at the secretariat; ask before you pay, and take a receipt. If anyone asks for a bribe to get you a certificate, call the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on its toll-free number 1064, or email complaints-acb@ap.gov.in.
