Not confirmed: The 24-hour limit is from the Home Ministry's 2021 release (the number was then 155260). Check the time given in the SMS from 1930. We could not open the pages of cybercrime.gov.in to confirm it.

Go to the police station with your complaint number and ask about the FIR.
🏛️ Your nearest police station or cyber crime police station
Not confirmed: Central government releases say State police turn portal complaints into FIRs. We could not open the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) site, tgcsb.tspolice.gov.in. Ask at the police station or on 1930 where the cyber crime police station is and how Telangana handles it.
9.
Do not tell anyone your OTP, PIN, CVV or password. No real bank, RBI office or other genuine body will ever ask you for them.

If it is late
If the bank does not reply or is slow, complain online to the RBI Ombudsman.
Not confirmed: The official pages we could open give no time within which the police must reply. Ask on 1930 or at the station.
Also
Do not pay anyone who asks for a fee to "get your money back". The police send your 1930 complaint to the banks, and the banks hold the money. If you get such a call, tell 1930.
Not confirmed: The Home Ministry says it is the banks that hold the money after a 1930 complaint, and RBI says fraudsters pose as officials. But we could not open an official page that warns about "recovery agents" in so many words (the Telangana police sites would not load). Confirm on 1930.
