If something goes wrong
If it is rejected
Ask the Branch Manager or the dispensary in charge why, and give any missing document. You can also go to the "Suvidha Samagam" held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Regional and Sub-Regional Offices and the second Friday at Branch Offices. A dispute about a benefit is decided by the Employees' Insurance Court. For an online complaint, use CPGRAMS.
If it is late
ESIC's charter sets these payment times: sickness benefit 7 days, maternity 14, funeral expenses and ABVKY 15, disablement and unemployment allowance 30, dependants' benefit 90 days. If it is late, complain on CPGRAMS: choose "Others/Not Listed/Not Known", then ESIC, then the Regional Office; or call 1800-11-2526 (24 hours).
If you are asked for more money
ESIC forms are given free at Branch Offices; do not pay for them. Do not go to touts. If anyone asks for money, call 1800-11-2526 or complain on CPGRAMS.
